At Colorado Integrated Electrical Services, we’re proud to be the team people turn to when safety, service, and expertise matter most — especially when it comes to real estate.

This month, we’re shining the spotlight on our longtime friends and clients, Carrie and Bob Miner of The Miner Group. As a husband-and-wife real estate duo, Carrie and Bob know how important it is to get homes market-ready and code-compliant. After a recent home inspection flagged several electrical issues in a property, they knew exactly who to call — and we were happy to help.

A Personal Connection That Sparks Results

Having known Justin, owner of CIES, since high school, Carrie and Bob felt confident reaching out when they needed electrical work done quickly and reliably.

The Project: Safety First, Code Always

The Miner Group called us in to tackle several inspection-related updates as well as some additional improvement items to create the perfect space for the new owners.

Here’s a breakdown of the services we provided:

  • Smoke Detector Replacement:
We replaced outdated smoke detectors throughout the home to meet current safety standards and ensure proper functionality.
  • GFCI Outlet Installation:
Kitchens, bathrooms, and other wet areas must be equipped with Ground Fault Circuit Interrupters (GFCIs) as required by code. We added GFCI protection wherever it was missing, helping to keep future homeowners safe.
  • EV Charger-Ready Garage:
With electric vehicles becoming more common, adding EV charging capabilities is a major plus. We installed the necessary circuit in the garage to support future EV charger installation.
  • Garage Door Circuit Upgrade:
We made updates to ensure the garage door circuits were functioning efficiently and safely.
  • Outdoor Lighting Maintenance:
Our team replaced malfunctioning photocells on outdoor light posts so they respond properly to changing light conditions — no more lights staying on all day or not coming on at night.
  • Troubleshooting & Diagnostics:
A few mystery issues popped up during inspection. Our team ran full diagnostics to identify the root causes and resolve them on the spot.

Why It Matters

When it comes to selling a home, small fixes can make a big difference — not just for passing inspections, but for providing peace of mind to potential buyers. That’s why professionals like the Miner Group trust CIES to handle every detail with care and precision.

Thanks to Carrie and Bob for letting us be part of their process — and for trusting a fellow high school alum to get the job done right.
